Counselling
Counselling is an important ministry in the church. Counselling has set free many people who are struggling in life due to various reasons. Counselling in the word of God truly liberates a person as they come to know the truth about life as God intended.
If you are going through uncertainties and want to make sure that everything goes well, consider joining us in counselling sessions. Urban Ministry
Urban ministry is a ministry related to sharing the good news of Jesus Christ in an urban setting.
Rapid Urbanization in India has posed great challenge in bringing the good news of Lord Jesus Christ. Urban areas of India have become mini-India where people from all four corners of India can be found. More and more people from rural areas are coming to towns and cities for in search of jobs, food and security.
According to a research paper India’s Urban Awakening (2010) from McKinsey Global Institute,
Projections show India’s urban population soaring from 340 million in 2008 to 590 million in 2030. And this urban expansion will happen at a speed quite unlike anything India has seen before. It took India nearly 40 years (between 1971 and 2008) for the urban population to rise by nearly 230 million. It will take only half the time to add the next 250 million.
It means that the urban population is overtaking the rural population in few decades. Reaching out to urban population is nothing but reaching out to the whole of the country.
Through this Urban Ministry in India, Immanuel Community Church wishes to participate in bringing the gospel to all people.
Prayer
Immanuel Community Church tied up with Elim Center International which is an international prayer ministry purposed to be an “oasis” of healing and restoration for individuals, the church, and society.
After the Exodus from Egypt, the Israelites went a long journey through the dry desert and began to grow faint and weary. In the midst of their difficult journey, God led them to the oasis Elim, which was a much needed place of rest, refreshment, and rejuvenation.
“Then they came to Elim, where there were twelve springs and seventy palm trees, and they camped there near the water.” (Exodus 15:27)
We wishe to give rest to the weary souls in the same way that the oasis Elim did. We believe that true rest comes only from the Lord, who is the true Shepherd. When we approach God and draw close to Him, our thirsts are quenched by springs of living water, and our tears are wiped away.
“For the Lamb at the center of the throne will be their shepherd; he will lead them to springs of living water. And God will wipe away every tear from their eyes.” (Revelations 7:17)
We believe prayer is the very means of coming closer to God. It is a way for us to deeply experience God’s healing and restoration.
Kids
Ministry towards kids is an important ministry. Ministry focusing on kids between 4 and 14 has gained much importance in recent years. The church will try to engage young generations through this ministry.
Among various programs for kids, Immanuel Community Church tied up with Jubilee Kids School to provide fun classes to kids.
At Jubilee Kids School, creative and fun classes including music, art, dance, language and more are offered to children ages 0-12! Not only will your child develop foundational skills in various subjects, our programs also help children to develop mentally and socially as they interact with other children and teachers. You can be confident that every child at Jubilee Kids School will be in the care of loving and experienced professionals.

Jubilee Kids School
Slum Ministry
Slum ministry is a ministry towards people who live in slums of our National Capital Region. Any interested persons can volunteer to help the slum dwellers in many ways. Kindly talk to the Co-ordinator in the church.
Widows & Single Mom Care
This ministry is towards widows and single mothers. This ministry will guide them and care for them. It will give them necessary fellowship and try to meet their needs as much as possible. Jesus loves those who are lonely and need care, love and attention. This ministry wishes to do the same.
Women's Fellowship
Women’s Fellowship is a fellowship of women in the church. Immanuel Community Church wishes to use this fellowship among women to become a fellowship that cares the special need of women in the church. The fellowship members are given the liberty to conduct their own gatherings and meetings to strengthen themselves and also to encourage their members. However, they are expected to make programmes or hold their own events not to interfere in the normal functioning of the church but to compliment the church.
Women fellowship members are also part of cell groups formed based on interest, gender, etc.
Women fellowship has gained importance as there are certain aspect of the family ministry and ministry among women which can be managed better with women caring for other women. In many churches, women fellowship are running homes for orphans, senior citizens, drug addicts, etc. Immanuel Community Church wishes to nurture and grow the women fellowship to become part of the salt and light of this city in fulfilling the Great Commission.
Men's Fellowship
Men’s Fellowship is a fellowship of lay men for deeper spiritual nourishment and encouragement among them. They are guided by the pastor of the church.
Men having fellowship with other men especially who are deep and strong in faith can help young believers to grow rapidly; at the same time it also gives them not only spiritual responsibility to cater to the need of their fellowship members but they also get nourished themselves spiritually.
Immanuel Community Church wishes to develop this fellowship that can take care of many aspects of church activities and compliment the general health of the church’s members.
In recent times, many churches have started men’s fellowships that has truly impacted their churches immensely.
